ABOUT
Rob Harkness
Rob Harkness is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, engineer, and educator with over 25 years of experience making records. Rob has worked with major-label artists and alongside world-renowned producers and engineers, as well as hundreds of independent artists. His production and artist development work has led to artists signing with Kobalt Music, RBC Records, and Sony/ATV Music Publishing, as well as numerous tracks being licensed for television and advertising.
For more than 15 years, Rob has taught music production, audio engineering, and artist development as an Associate Professor at Musicians Institute College in Los Angeles and instructor at SAE Institute New York. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Music Production & Engineering from Berklee College of Music.

Barn Productions is a studio workspace built around the entire creative process, not just recording.
This comfortable, colorful space is designed for writing, experimenting, editing, mixing, and everything in between.
With instruments and recording tools always ready to go, ideas can be explored as they happen without interrupting the creative flow.
